Timothy J. McCarty

Tim McCarty is the President & CEO of Filtration Group Corporation. Filtration Group’s mission is to make the world safer, healthier and more productive by creating innovative filtration solutions that deliver outstanding customer value. Tim has previously served as President of Filtration Group’s IAQ Division and as Global CFO for Filtration Group.
Prior to joining Filtration Group, Mr. McCarty had a 23-year career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, including 15 years as a partner. Most recently, he served as the Central Region Managing Partner, where he had management responsibility for a team of close to 2,000 professionals in 20 cities. Over the course of his career at Deloitte, Mr. McCarty had a number of management roles, including Americas Region Audit Leader, Chicago Managing Partner and the leader of several different industry practices. He also served many of Deloitte’s most prestigious clients across a wide variety of industries.
Mr. McCarty is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is an active supporter of a number of charitable organizations focused on serving children and adults with special needs. He previously served as the President of the Board of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation and as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Field Museum.
