Robert L. Carpio, III
Group President, Life Sciences
Mr. Carpio is Group President of Filtration Group’s Life Sciences, which is making the world safer, healthier and more productive through innovative solutions for humans and businesses around the world.
Prior to Filtration Group, Mr. Carpio served as Group Vice President at Precision Castparts Corporation (a Berkshire Hathaway company), where he had full P&L responsibility for a $400 million aerospace parts manufacturing business in North America and led the turnaround of multiple CNC machining facilities. Previously, Mr. Carpio held positions of increasing, global responsibility in engineering & operations at Alcoa Corporation, which he joined after serving as a client engagement manager for McKinsey & Company. He proudly began his career in the United States Army.
Mr. Carpio graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
