David M. McGinnis
Chief Financial Officer, Filtration Group
Dave McGinnis is the Chief Financial Officer of Filtration Group Corporation.
Mr. McGinnis joined the company in 2020 and previously served as the Controller for the $3B Automotive Segment of Illinois Tool Works (ITW). In this role, he had full financial responsibility for over 80 facilities distributed across 16 countries. As part of the leadership team, Mr. McGinnis helped form and execute the segment’s global strategy, negotiated key contracts and helped drive margin expansion. Prior to his role at ITW, he spent almost 15 years at General Electric, where he held a number of global finance leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
Mr. McGinnis is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He and his wife live in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago with their son.
