On Oct 2, 2023, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children, honored Madison Founder and CEO, Larry Gies, presenting him with its highest award; the Semper Fidelis Award.

The Chicago Dinner for the Children of the Severely Injured is the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s signature event. Held annually in the Windy City, the Chicago Dinner Committee has made a promise to ensure that every child of a severely injured Marine or Navy Corpsman has the opportunity to pursue the American dream their parents served to defend.
