Recently, Madison Founder and CEO, Larry Gies, spoke to students in the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. This lecture marked his 30^th year speaking to future leaders. The auditorium was packed with students from two classes; Entrepreneurial Finance and Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition. With a focus on a case study from one of Madison’s businesses to give a real-life experience into owning a business, he also shared his lessons learned from failure, connecting purpose and impact, and always leading with mission.
