At AMKUS, manufacturer of life saving safety tools, keeping the operation running is critical to assisting fire fighters and other first responders in saving lives. Employee safety is our first and foremost goal, consequently social distancing and a clean facility are key. The CEO at AMKUS, Kyle Smith, has taken it upon himself to come into the factory each day before the team arrives to disinfect the entire plant one more time before the start of the shift to make certain that it is clean and sanitized (including the toilets). Kyle is doing this with no fanfare – we were told this by someone who saw him finishing up one morning.  

We often think of leadership as strategy, business execution and communication but a true leader is one that is willing to do what is necessary to keep the team safe so they can perform their greater good. #MADISONSTRONG
