Ms. Handy currently serves as Director of Global Talent Management for Porex, a business unit of Filtration Group. In this role, she works with her leaders to develop their teams to drive performance and create a competitive talent advantage that meets Porex’s people vision, goals and objectives.  She also works directly with team members to raise the impact of their performance while developing activities designed to meet their professional goals.

 

In her prior role as Purafil’s Director of Talent and Customer Experience (also a business unit of Filtration Group), she was responsible for the recruiting, training, development and overall employee life cycle, as well as maintaining a strong focus on creating moments that positively enhanced the customer experience.

 

As Co-Chair for the Madison Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, Ms. Handy’s focus revolves around expanding on the values that are important to all employees, resulting in an environment and a culture that is more representative of Madison’s global footprint.   Her goal is to be a part of a movement that allows for a culture where team members can be their authentic selves, where room is created for growth and opportunity and where diversity, equity and inclusion are key tenets.  At Madison, you belong.  Our strength lies in our differences.

 

Prior to Filtration Group, Ms. Handy served as an HR Business Partner in both the private and public sectors.  Her career started in the hospitality industry, serving as a hotel general manager for brands such as Marriott, Prime Hospitality and InterContinental Hotels Group.

 

Ms. Handy holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, with a concentration in Employment Law, a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute.
