Brian Greviskes
Senior Managing Director
Prior to joining Madison Industries, Brian served as Senior Director of Automation Development Engineering at Tesla, where he led teams across automation and machine building, manufacturing engineering and advanced manufacturing R&D. His teams designed, built, and procured custom machinery associated with all facets of vehicle manufacturing for all of Tesla’s main manufacturing facilities.
Previously, Brian was co-owner and President of Compass Automation, an Elgin, Illinois-based manufacturer of industrial automation and custom machinery. Brian led Compass through its acquisition by Tesla in 2017. While at Compass, Brian developed “Agile Machine Development,” a process that enabled the company to become a leader in the design and manufacture of highly complex custom assembly and inspection equipment. Tesla went on to adopt Brian’s Agile process to drive new vehicle design and manufacturing innovations, including its “Unboxed Process.”
Brian earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
