Franco Cisternino
Senior Managing Director, Madison Industries
Mr. Cisternino is a seasoned global executive with over 26 years of experience in diversified industrial and manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining Madison, he held the position of Executive Vice President at Marmon Holdings (a division of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway), where he oversaw three industry groups generating over $2 billion in annual revenue. During his tenure, he consistently achieved revenue growth and profitability, and he successfully led multiple acquisitions.
Prior to Marmon, Mr. Cisternino held roles of progressive responsibility during his 17-year tenure at Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW). He began his career with ITW as a Product Design Engineer and currently holds more than 30 U.S. and international patents.
Mr. Cisternino earned his MBA from DePaul University and his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas. He is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago.
