Drake Stein
Director, Operations Group, Madison Industries
Mr. Stein serves as Director of the Operations Group with a focus on the Energy Recovery Group of Madison Air. He previously served as Operations Manager of National Biological Corp. Mr. Stein began his career with Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Danaher Operating Company, in the Business Operations Leadership Development program (BOLD). He specialized in the Danaher Business System’s Lean Tools, where he was responsible for implementing and training teams on the DBS Tools. He became known for vigorously applying Lean Manufacturing, achieving significant productivity improvements, inventory reductions and cost savings.
Mr. Stein graduated from Purdue University with a dual bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution with a focus in Business Management. While at Purdue, he was a scholarship athlete on the wrestling team.
