As President of Nortek Data Center Cooling, Karin Overstreet leads a business at the forefront of the AI revolution – advancing air, liquid and hybrid cooling technologies that power the world’s most demanding and mission-critical digital infrastructure.

 

In a fast-paced market where the only constant is change, Karin has built a data center–specialized operation that anticipates and delivers next-generation cooling solutions. Under her leadership, Nortek Data Center Cooling has reimagined the innovation process – shortening development cycles, co-creating with customers, and building the agility required to meet the rapidly evolving demands of data-driven industries.

 

Karin has an established track record of transforming businesses, driving profitable growth and developing high-performing teams. Prior to her current role, she served at IDEX Corporation, where she led eleven businesses as Global Platform President for the Severe Duty Flow Control (SDFC) group. Earlier in her career, Karin held general management, product management and marketing roles at Stanley Black & Decker, GE, Hewlett Packard and Honeywell. Across these positions, she consistently delivered growth by launching new products and services, expanding into new geographies, advancing digital transformation and acquiring businesses to enter adjacent markets.

 

Karin earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota. A champion for advancing women in business, she served as the IDEX executive sponsor for Women in Manufacturing (WIM). She is also deeply committed to supporting children with dyslexia, having helped establish an International Dyslexia Association (IDA) Board in Connecticut to expand awareness and resources for families.
