Prior to joining Madison, Mr. Joseph enjoyed an exceptional career with Danaher Corporation, a NYSE listed global Science and Technology Company built on the Danaher Business System (DBS). During his 30-year tenure, he held a number of executive positions including Operating Company President and Group Executive roles, where he was responsible for as many as 11 companies with $1.2 billion in annual revenue. Through DBS, and a continuous improvement approach, he helped his businesses achieve substantial operating profit growth and margin expansion while growing market share and shepherding the development of his team.
Over a 7-year period in Danaher’s M&A function, Mr. Joseph led the effort on 25 acquisitions of both small and large public and privately held companies on a global basis. He was also responsible for a number of divestitures.
Mr. Joseph also served as the Chief Integration Officer for Danaher’s largest acquisition, where he helped introduce the DBS culture working closely with the company’s senior leadership team.
Most recently, he served as the Group Executive for the Sensors and Controls operating companies. He also held the dual role of President of the Danaher Middle East and Turkey region, where he helped substantially expand Danaher’s presence, leading it to become Danaher’s highest growth region in 2014.
He received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.
